The carbide needle holder according to TOENNIS is particularly well suited for placing ligatures on the middle surface of the operating field. This needle holder enables a unique tensioning of the needle or ligature due to its pliers handle. The strength of the tension in the mouth is thus determined by the hand pressure of the surgeon.
