These differ from our standard models in that they usually last 30 times longer and remain sharp over many sterilization cycles. You can recognize scissors with hard metal inserts by the two gold-plated branches. Also in the range: Carbide scissors with special micro-serration (Supercut). This makes it possible to cut cleanly into the tissue and prevents the cutting scissor blades from slipping off. Carbide scissors with Supercut can be recognized by a gold-plated branch together with a black chrome-plated branch.
